The purpose of the workshop was to bring together a multi-disciplinary group of speakers from our own KPJ and other healthcare institutions who are noted for their scholarly achievements to teach and coach aspiring clinical researchers the science and techniques of Clinical Epidemiology and clinical research. Skills in writing a sound research methodology, the application of appropriate statistical tests and critical appraisal of the literature were emphasized. It was a successful event attended by almost all the postgraduate students of KPJUC as well as some representatives from two KPJ Hospitals and KPJ Headquarters.
